Privacy Policy
Last Updated: February 1, 2026
1. Data Collection Policy
We do not directly collect or store personal information for marketing purposes. The only personal data processed is your institutional email address (@makopan.edu.hk or @bunorden.com), which is used solely for identity verification and access control to restricted educational materials.
2. Authentication & Database (Firebase)
We utilize Google Firebase for user authentication and data management. When you sign up or log in:
- Your email and password (encrypted) are stored securely on Google's servers.
- Firebase uses cookies and identifiers to maintain your session and ensure you are authorized to view resources.
- Security is enforced through Firebase Security Rules, ensuring your data remains private.
3. Hosting & Infrastructure (Cloudflare)
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process certain technical data to ensure the security and performance of the site:
- Cloudflare Analytics: We use lightweight, privacy-friendly analytics (`static.cloudflareinsights.com`) to understand site traffic without identifying individual users.
- Security Triage: Cloudflare may collect IP addresses and browser metadata to defend against DDoS attacks and malicious activities.
4. Third-Party Scripts (Gstatics)
We use Gstatics (a Google-owned domain) to deliver essential library scripts and icons efficiently. While these requests are primarily for functional purposes, they may be considered tracking content by some privacy tools as they involve standard web requests to Google's infrastructure.
5. Account Deletion
Users have the total right to be forgotten. To request the deletion of your account and all associated authentication data, please contact the administrator via Telegram (@jayyyyyden_hk) or email (contact@bunorden.com). Requests are typically processed within 1-3 business days.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally to reflect changes in our infrastructure or legal requirements. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
